Mountain Bike Hire - July 15

Stuart and the Team at Cycle Adventure were contacted by myself to organise mountain bike hire and delivery for our first team squad here at Bolton Wanderers this summer for two days work.

Their experience in the logistics of this type of request and their expertise in sourcing and fitting each player with the appropriate equipment and their attention to health and safety for our players enabled two excellent days for our playing staff.

The players and coaching staff are grateful for Stuart’s input which made our job so much easier.

I would not hesitate in recommending Cycle Adventure and we will be sending the squad over to the trails at Gisburn later in the season for what we expect will be another stimulating days activity.

The cycle route took up on quiet lanes 3 miles North of Slaidburn to pick up the Salter Fell bridleway over the Fells of Bowland.

Sitting back outside the small cafe in Slaidburn with the late afternoon sun in our faces we reflected on an enjoyable and exhilarating day out.

Thanks must go to Stuart who endured the constant chatter of the team having escaped from work for the day.. His knowledge and expertise were both helpful and useful. Looking forward to a repeat trip soon .........

Yorkshire Evening Post - Family Cycle Hire - Oct 09

Our day of outdoors activity started after breakfast when the four of us took delivery of hired mountain bikes.

Expecting something far more mundane, it was a pleasant surprise to be presented with bikes that had no problems tackling the undulating hills surrounding the village of Scorton where we were based.

Cycle Adventure, the bike hire company, are clearly an organisation with an infectious passion for biking and after an extremely helpful few minutes of explanation about the equipment, we're pushing off on our cycling adventure.

It really is an excellent way to see the countryside up close.

Aided by the early morning sunlight of a crisp autumnal Thursday, our six mile route took us through some incredibly picturesque scenery, from winding country lanes to cycle tracks running parallel with babbling brooks.

Scout Group - mountain bike hire - May 08

Hi Stuart,

Without doubt the best experience we have had in our 5 years of Summer Camp and hiring cycles. The equipment was excellent, very impressive looking bikes, helmets and a really good supply of spares and repair tools.

The Scouts had a very safe and enjoyable experience, Beacon Fell was a great suggestion, a one way system and an off-road experience at the top meant we could manage the group easily and without the stress of oncoming traffic. You could not have been more helpful through the whole process, from the initial contact, prompt return of emails and phone calls and the collection and delivery service was first class.

It was good to see you getting TV recognition recently on North West tonight I think and I wish you every success in the future. I would have no hesitation in recommending you to fellow Scout groups, voluntary organizations and generally anyone looking for a great cycle experience. For overall enjoyment & satisfaction you would definitely get a 10 out of 10 from us.
